Dorothy E. Page, 87, formerly of Chana, IL died early Thursday morning Oct. 20, 2011 at the N. E. Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, MO. She was born on Jan. 10, 1924 in Essex, MO the daughter of Elmer Chadd and Elsie Ann (Morris) Armes. Dorothy married Armal Z. Page in Poplar Bluff, MO on July 12, 1940 and together they farmed in the Northern Illinois area their entire married life until their health required them to move to their daughter’s home in Green City, MO. Armal preceded her on March 3, 2006. Dorothy was a member of the Church of God in Rochelle. Dorothy was preceded by her parents; sisters: Helen Cravens of Parma, MO and Thelma Sadler of Broseley, MO; Brothers: Lester Armes of Fairdealing, MO, Charles Armes of Sandwich, IL, Marvin Armes of Muskogee, Oklahoma and Verlin and James Armes in infancy.
She is survived by her daughter Anita Carol (Dennis) Murphy of Green City, MO; grandchildren: Brian (Shelley) Todd of Springfield, MO, Jason (Coreen) Todd of New London WI, and LeeAnne Page Todd of Nixa, MO; great grandchildren: twins: Page and Kevin Kincanon; Samantha and Britany Kincanon, Christopher and Lucas Todd. Two sisters;Glenda Moore of Kelseyville,Ca. and Ruth Dockery of Bladenboro, North Carolina ; two sisters-in-law: Betty Armes of Sandwich, Il. and Amy Page of Rochelle, Il. And many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 10:00 AM Monday, Oct. 24, 2011 at the Church of God, 222 First Ave. in Rochelle with Rev. David W. Reish. Visitation from 9 to 10 AM Monday prior to the funeral at the church.
