Florence E. Stiles, 95, of Rochelle, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012 at Rochelle Rehabilitation Center in Rochelle. She was born on Dec. 20, 1916 in Chicago, IL to William and Florence (Allwood) Pedersen. On April 15, 1972, Florence married James J. Stiles in Villa Park, IL and he preceded her on Feb. 10, 1980. She was also preceded by a brother: Richard Peterson and daughter-in-law: Frances Mecklenburg. Memberships include Hub City Senior Citizens, life member of VFW Auxiliary Post 3878, and from 1958 - 1986, was a member and officer of Villa Park VFW Auxiliary Post 2801.

Survivors include 2 sons: James (Karen) Mecklenburg of Rochelle, IL and Paul Mecklenburg of Lombard, IL; grandchildren: Bryan(Sarah) Zera and Angela Zera and niece: Sandra Peterson.

Services will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Rochelle, IL on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012 at 10:30 AM. Visitation at Unger-Horner Funeral Home on Tuesday, Nov. 27th from 4 to 7 PM. Burial at Chapel Hill Gardens West in Elmhurst, IL at 2:30 PM. Memorials to Rochelle Senior Center.
