Jerry Lynn Wren, 67, of Amboy IL, passed away Thur. Dec. 6th 2012 at the Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL after an extended illness. Jerry was born Sept. 7, 1945 in Cherry Valley, AR the son of J.W. and Ruby (Pruitt) Wren. Jerry was a 1963 graduate of RTHS. He was preceded in death by his son: Mark Wren, Mar. 21, 2007 and also by his brother: Ricky Wren Nov. 27, 2007 and by his parents. Jerry is survived by a daughter: Melissa (Jeff) Thake of Amboy, IL; brother: Lee (Sheree) Wren of Alpharetta GA; sister Pam Ullrich of South Beloit, IL; one grandson: Logan Thake; long time companion: Georgiette Notz of Niles, IL; 1 nephew and 6 nieces. Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle, IL with Rev. Dr. James Tilley officiating. Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 10 from 4-7 PM at Unger-Horner Funeral Home. Memorials to be established. Burial at Lawnridge Cemetery.
