Obituary

Ada DeAun Glammeyer, 80 of Chana , IL was called home to be with the Lord Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 at the Rochelle Rehabilitation Center after a long illness. Born Jan. 30, 1932 in Ava, Mo. the daughter of Lester and Isabelle (Brown) Gray. She married Charles F. Glammeyer on Aug. 19, 1950 in Chana, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Woodrow, Clarence and Lester "Junior" Gray; and sister: Mildred Nash.
She was an active member and volunteer of the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Rochelle. DeAun loved walking, doing crafts, and spending time with her family. She worked as a secretary for the Chana School until its closing, then as secretary at Etnyre School in Oregon, retiring in 1993. DeAun and Charles spent many winter months in Gulf Shores, AL which became their second home.
DeAun is survived by her husband Charles Glammeyer, daughters: Linda (Dr. Robert) Benningfield of Peoria, IL, Janet (Thomas) Fenwick of Broadhead, WI, and Diane (Scott) Lillie of Chana, IL; 10 Grandchildren: Robert, Joshua, Jason, Scott, Stephanie, Matthew, Michael, Joseph, Sara, and Rachel; and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday Oct. 31, 2012 at St Paul Lutheran Church with visitation the same day from 9:45 to 10:45 at the Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Paul Lutheran School.
Burial will be in Trinity Memory Garden.
