Alan H. Krumlinde, age 58 of Compton, IL, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2006 in Mendota Community Hospital of an apparent heart attack.
He was born on Aug. 9,1948 in Charles City, IA the son of Richard and Loan (Crane) Krumlinde.
Alan married Maureen K. Mayfield on Sept. 8, 2001 in Compton, IL. He was employed in the sales and distribution of the Homes and Farm Magazine and was a member of the Crossroads
Community Church in Rochelle and the Mendota Elks Club.
Suvivors include his wife Maureen Mayfield of Compton; a stepson: Frank (Shara)Laccone of Kingsland, GA; 4 stepdaughters: Beth Rexford of Clare, IL, Leah Fultz of Farmville, VA,
Rachel (Dan) Vinyard of Rochelle, IL, and Anna (Larry) Olson of Montpelier, VA; 2 brothers:
Ivan Krumlinde and Jack Krumlinde of Charles City, IA; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St. in Rochelle, with Rev. Steve Boothe officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at 10:00 AM on Saturday at Unger-Horner. On Friday,
Nov. 24th from 4 to 8 PM, friends may call at the family home at 420 Cherry Street in Compton, IL. In lieu of flowers: Memorials can be made to the United Indian Mission. Graveside service and burial will take place Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006 at 1: PM at the Riverside Cemetery in Charles City, Iowa.
