IN LOVING MEMORY OF

Romero
August 11, 1975 – September 30, 2025
Rochelle
Alejandro Romero Delgado, 50, passed away unexpectedly from a roofing accident Tuesday, September 30, 2025 in Joliet, Illinois. Alejandro was born on August 11, 1975 to Agustin Romero Velazquez and Francisca Delgado Ortiz in Iguala, Guerrero, Mexico. On September 21, 1994, he married Margarita Ramirez Dominguez in Zaca Coyuca, Guerrero, Mexico.
Alejandro came to America with a hope and a dream; that dream was to give his daughter and wife a better life. He was a hard worker and had an amazing work ethic, making sure his wife got an education and went above and beyond for her and his kids.
After a long day as a roofer, he always looked forward to coming home to a home cooked meal by his wife and seeing his kids and his grandkids. He loved spending time with all of his family from his wife, kids, son-in-law and grandkids to visiting his siblings and cousins. He was loved by his nieces and nephews. He loved his friends as if they were part of his own family. He was a family man for sure.
Aside from spending time with his family, Alejandro also enjoyed spending time with all of his friends and neighbors. Watching soccer and movies, eating his favorite snacks and drinking his Modelos were good times for him. He was a peacemaker. He loved to talk and joke around.
Alejandro leaves a legacy of unconditional love and a reminder to always be there for one another.
Alejandro is survived by his wife, Margarita of Rochelle; four children: Monica Perez, Miguel Romero, Giovanni Romero and Belinda Romero; three brothers: Santos, Alfredo and Silverio Romero; two sisters: Marcela and Reyna Romero and two grandchildren: Xavier and Julian Perez.
