Alfredo "Freddy" Sarinana, 64, of Rochelle, passed away Friday, April 29, 2022, at his home. He was born April 28, 1958, in Mexico to Jose Antonio Sarinana and Sara Ruiz Meraz.

Freddy is survived by his mother, Sara Ruiz; children, Ivan (Nichole) Meraz of Davis Junction, Andres (Jennifer) Sarinana of Portales, New Mexico, Sarahi Sarinana of Portales, New Mexico, and Perla Janet Sarinana of Odessa, TX; grandchildren JaeLeigh (Bazil Bennett) Meraz, Zavier Meraz, Zacarias Meraz, and many more; sisters, Rosa (Fernando) Caldera of Rochelle, Angelica (Pedro) Sarinana of Rockford, Maribel (Juan) Sarinana of Mexico, and Marta Meraz of Texas; nephews Daniel Valdivia of Rochelle, Abel (Ana) Caldera of Rockford, German Caldera of Pittsburgh, PA; nieces, Limny Suarez and Abdisay Suarez; and many more nieces and nephews.

Freddy is preceded in death by his father, Jose Antonio Sarinana, and brother, Valentin Sarinana.

Cremation care has been provided by the Unger-Horner Funeral Home. Memorial visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at the Unger Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle.
