Alma Emogene "Jean" Duncan, age 83 of Rochelle, passed away on Friday, Jan. 25, 2008
at Rochelle Community Hospital. She was born on May 7, 1924 in Spruce Pine, AL,
the daughter of Lester and Ruth (Grissom) Bragwell. On July 14, 1945, Jean married
Othel Duncan in Belgreen, AL and he preceded her on Dec. 18, 2000. She was also preceded
by 2 sons: Randy and Garry and a daughter: Frieda; 2 brothers: L.D. and J.C. Bragwell, and 2 sisters: Rosalee "Tootsie" Hargett and Ann Rea. Jean was a homemaker and employed by the Rochelle Enrichment Center for many years. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Gorman for her special care and concern.
Survivors include 2 Sons: Roger (Sharon) Duncan of Rochelle and Jerry (Colleen) Duncan
of Rockford, IL; a daughter: Belinda Seaton of Rochelle; daughter-in-law: Nancy Duncan
of Stillman Valley, IL; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Services will be held at Unger-Horner Funeral Home on Monday, Jan. 28, 2008 1 PM with
Chaplain Judy Williams officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 PM on Sunday, Jan. 27th, at
Unger-Horner Funeral Home. Burial will be at Lindenwood Cemetery. A memorial has been established.
