On October 24, 2020 after a long struggle with brain cancer, Pastor Al Roose, 67, of New Beginnings Baptist Church in Creston, Illinois fell asleep on earth and woke up in heaven. Pastor Roose was a church planter for 35 years and started eleven churches.

He was married to the only girl he ever dated, the love of his life, Linda Richardson, for almost 49 years. They had two children, Bethany and Brian and nine amazing grandchildren. Pastor will be greatly missed but his legacy of faithfulness will live on through the lives of those he touched with the Gospel. He knew heaven was his home, what about you?
