Amanda "Mandy" Ramsey Dockery tragically passed away on June 14, 2023. Mandy was born October 20, 1974, in Dekalb, IL to Charlie and Jane (Schafer) Ramsey. She attended Rochelle Township High School where she was a cheerleader and elected homecoming queen and prom queen. She graduated from Western Illinois University in 1996. She is member of the Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority.

Mandy then worked for her dad at HESSCO until her first child was born and she chose to be a stay-at-home mom. This last year she has been substitute teaching which she loved, and the kids adored her. Mandy was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. Her smile and personality would light up any room. She was funny, silly, and laughed loudly, and often. She loved music. Her favorite was Barry Manilow. She loved to read and watch Golden Girls reruns.

Mandy had so many friends who loved her and whom she loved, but she loved her family most of all, her children especially, Chase and Macey. The three of them had a very special bond. She was such a wonderful daughter. She met her fiancé 4 years ago and what started out as a friendship grew into a deep love. They were so happy and looking forward to being married.

Mandy is survived by her two children, Chase Dockery, and Macey Dockery. Her parents Charlie and Jane Ramsey, her fiancé Michael Nenni, his three sons, Camron Nenni, Carsen Nenni, and Jaden Nenni, and her grandmother Dory Schafer, aunts, and uncles; Randy (Alice) Schafer, Shelley Stroud, Lester (Vickki) Ramsey, Herman (Kathy) Ramsey, Frank (Sue) Ramsey, Freda Ankney and Sharon Watson. Two special cousins who were like sisters to her; Lara Heritage and Heidi Connolly, and many more. As well as her beloved dog, Crew.

Mandy is preceded in death by her brother, Chad Ryan Ramsey, maternal grandfather, Rex Schafer, and paternal grandparents, Frank and Bessie Ramsey.

The visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at Moss-Norris Funeral Home, 100 South Third Street St. Charles, IL.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 21, 2021, at Chapelstreet Church, 2300 South Street, Geneva IL. The interment will be held privately at Lawnridge Cemetery in Rochelle, IL.

Memorial contributions in Mandy's memory may be directed to her children Chase and Macey Dockery which will be used for their continued education expenses.
