Andre "Andy" B. Lindquist, 70, passed away Monday, December 7, 2015 in Rockford, IL. Andy was born November 4, 1945 to Carl and Beatrice (Schroeder) Lindquist in Rockford, IL. He married Carol J. Vickery on November 29, 1969 in New Milford, IL. She preceded him in death on July 15, 2002. Andy worked for A.G. Communication Systems for many years before retiring in 2004. In addition to his parents, he is also predeceased by his stepsister, Mary Rice; stepson, Steven Rice and two grandchildren: Craig Bronson Rice and Paul Lindquist, Jr.

Andy is survived by his daughter, Michelle (Mike) Smith of Byron; son, Paul (Malissa) Lindquist of Poplar Bluff, MO; two stepsons: Gary (Kim) Rice of Rockford and Craig (Bonnie) Rice of Cherry Valley, IL; three stepdaughters: Shari Reagan of Monroe Center, Vicki (Larry) Rippentrop of Lindenwood, IL and Lori Rice of Show Low, AZ; stepbrother, David Schumacher of Rockford; stepsister, Linda Himes of Leaf River, IL and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, December 14, 2015 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle, with Pastor Pam Lojewski officiating. The visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:45 AM prior to the service on Monday. The burial will follow the funeral service at Lindenwood Cemetery.
