Angela "Angie" Dawn Fulghum Ginn, age 53, died at 12:55pm on Saturday, Sept. 24 in Freeport IL, surrounded by her children and family.
Angie was born Aug. 8, 1963, in Wilson, NC. She resided in Rochelle IL for most of her adult life. She was a bartender and manager for Sunset lounge for over two decades.
She was a proud, loving, and devoted mother. Her fun, unique personality would light up the room. She always had words of advice and became a local psychiatrist to many. She always lived life to the fullest, loving, caring, tough, and above all, a joy to know.
She is survived by her mother and father, Peggy and George Fulghum of Sims, NC; 3 children: Chasity (Corey) Ziegenhorn of Sims, NC, Phillip (Amy) Ginn of Davis Junction, IL, and Ashley Ginn of Rockford, IL; two brothers: Cale (Joy) Fulghum of Sims, NC and Mike Fulghum of Sims, NC; 4 Grandchildren: Logan, Ryley, Everette, and Nora-Mae; Steve Anderson and Opie; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, countless friends and loyal customers.
She is preceded in death by her brother Randy Fulghum, grandparents, Wade (Elizabeth) Fulghum, and Daphne Winstead.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday, Sept. 26, 2016 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle, IL, with the memorial service immediately following at 7 p.m.
