Arlene Glaser, 86, of Rochelle passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2008 at Rochelle Community Hospital. She was born on June 28, 1922, in Ashton, IL, the daughter of Frank and Alice Turner Schinzer. She married Ralph "Bud" Glaser on February 14, 1942 in Sublette, IL.

She is survived by her husband; 1 son, Robert (Karole) Glaser of Oregon, IL and a daughter Beverly (Dale) Sanders of Machesney Park, IL;
Grandchildren, Lisa (James) Winters, Matt (Ann) Glaser, Scott (Rachel) Sanders, and Laura (Bill) Ahern: great-grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob and Emma Winters.
2 brothers John (Lea) Schinzer and Gene (Carol) Schinzer; and many nieces and nephews.

Arlene was a devoted farm wife for many years and then a private secretary for Del Monte in Rochelle. She enjoyed painting, crafts, sewing, card playing and reading. Most of all she loved sharing time with her family and vacations with extended family.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 20th at St Patrick Catholic Church in Rochelle with visitation from 9:00 a.m. to service time at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorials have been established to the Village Of Progress, Oregon, IL and Illinois Growth Enterprises in Loves Park.
Burial will be at St Mary's Cemetery in Sublette, Illinois.
