Rochelle

Arlie J. Jennings, 85, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2014 in Rockford, Illinois. Arlie was born February 20, 1929 in Ava, Missouri to Clarence and Ada I. (Reser) Jennings. He married Ruth Beverly "Bev" Harrolle on May 14, 1962 in Rochelle, IL. Arlie was a supervisor for Del Monte Foods for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bev, on November 10, 2003 and his daughter, Jenifer D. Jennings, on December 31, 1988, three brothers: Cleo, Bob and Dewayne Jennings and his sister, Wanda Crawford.

Arlie is survived by his son, Joe (Collene) Jennings, Rochelle, two daughters: Marissa (Chad) Wentz of Rochelle and Iona (James) Case of Rochelle; 7 grandchildren: Denise (Pete) Johnson, Jacki (Jake) Nauman, Aaron Case, Falon (Matt) Vails, Matthew Wentz, Cory (Nicole) Meyers and Conor Smith and three great grandchildren: Andrew Johnson, Bella Nauman and Jaxson Vails.

Moose memorial service at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, November 8, 2014 with funeral services immediately following at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle with Pastor Gordon Landry of the Flagg Center Community Church of God officiating. The visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00, Friday, November 7 at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Trinity Memory Gardens in Rochelle. Memorials may be made to the Rochelle Moose Lodge.
