Armando Sanchez, age 71, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at the home with his family at his side. He was born on March 2, 1955 in Mexico City, Mexico, the son of Salvador and Antonia (Martinez) Sanchez.

He married the love of his life Tomasa Rebollar on September 5, 1973 in Mexico City, Mexico. Armando loved spending time with his wife and family, especially when the grandkids came over to spend some time with grandpa. Over the years, he enjoyed fishing, fixing things, going to Kingdom Hall, collecting different unique items, and getting a good bargain.

Armando is survived by his wife Tomasa Sanchez; his three children: Pablo Sanchez of Rochelle, Illinois, Maria (Mike) Swearingen of Sterling, Illinois, and Ezequias (Katie) Sanchez of Rochelle, Illinois; his five brothers Antonio Sanchez Martinez of Chicago, Illinois, Raul Sanchez Martinez of Chicago, Illinois, Gregorio (Celia) Sanchez Martinez of Mississippi, Gustavo Sanchez Martinez of Chicago, Illinois, and Salvador Sanchez Martinez of Chicago, Illinois; his four sisters Augustina Sanchez Martinez of Mexico City, Mexico, Maria de la luz Martinez of Chicago, Illinois, Rosa Sanchez Martinez of Mexico City, Mexico, and Angela (Narciso) Rodriguez of Berwyn, Illinois; his ten grandchildren Keagan Bryant, Devon Bryant, Anashia (Alexander) Lewis, Julian Pendleton, Natalia Sanchez, Ariana Sanchez, Kyra Rimstidt, Kiara Sanchez, Dalila Sanchez, and Ezequias Sanchez; and his two great-grandchildren Adrianna Bryant and Daniella Bryant.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his son Daniel Sanchez; and his sister Maria Elena.
