Arnold Boudreau, born on March 1, 1931, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2023. Arnold's life was marked by dedication, hard work, and a deep commitment to his family, his community, and his faith.
Arnold began his career at A. O. Smith, where he started in maintenance. Through years of unwavering dedication and hard work, he rose through the ranks to retire as the Plant Manager after an illustrious 42-year career. In his retirement years, he dedicated his time to the betterment of his community. He served at the Rochelle Food Pantry from 1991 to 1995, and later, at the Rochelle Food Bank from 1995 to 2002, where he made a significant impact on the lives of those in need.
A devout Catholic, Arnold found solace and strength in his faith. Outside of his work and community service, Arnold enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He had a passion for golf, spending countless hours on the green, and cherished leisurely walks.
Arnold Boudreau will be remembered as a loving husband, a dedicated professional, a compassionate community servant, and a man of deep faith. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know him.
He is survived by his devoted spouse of 71 years, Eileen Lanoue; 3 children, Bernette Benson, Anthony Boudreau, & Teresa Schofield; 4 grandchildren; and a brother, David (Suzy) Boudreau Jr.
He was preceded in death by his son John Boudreau; grandson Jaime Boudreau; and son-in-law, Larry Benson.
A visitation to celebrate Arnold's life will be held on Monday October 23, 2023, from 9:00AM - 11:00AM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Rochelle, IL. A funeral mass will immediately follow the visitation at 11:00AM, officiated by Father Jesus Dominguez. There will be an additional visitation on Tuesday October 24, 2023, from 10:00AM - 11:00AM at Cotter Funeral Home in Momence, IL with a graveside service following at 11:30AM at St. Patrick Cemetery in Momence, IL.
