Obituary
Arthur Henry Luxton, age 101, of Rochelle died on Sunday, July 26, 2009 at his home. He was born on July 15, 1908 in Dement Township on the family farm, the son of Harry and Olive Cosway Luxton. Arthur married Marian Lambkin on December 14, 1940 in Clinton,Iowa. He farmed his entire life retiring at age 97. Was a member of the Rochelle Municipal Band, and the Creston Methodist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers: Harold, William, Daniel, Herman and Walter, and his twin sister: Alice Dolly Gittleson.

Don (Belinda) Luxton of Rochelle
daughter: Jean (Craig) Leafblad of EauClaire, WI
15 Grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; Cousin: John Lucy of England; Sister-in-law: Isla Luxton of Sycamore, IL and many nieces and nephews.
Services are Thursday, July 30, 2009 at Creston Methodist Church in Creston at 10:00 AM with Rev. Vaughn Peterson officiating.
Visitation on Wednesday, July 29th from 5 to 7 PM at Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle.
Burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Creston. The family would like to thank Ogle County Hospice and home workers: Mary Wilson and Yvette Ward for the wonderful care given to Art. In Lieu of Flowers: Memorials to Ogle County Hospice or to Creston Methodist Church.
