Barbara A. Albrecht 72 of Ashton died Thursday Nov. 1, 2007 at Rochelle Gardens care center. She was born Dec. 30, 1934 in Rochelle, IL the daughter of Frank and Esther DeBruine Eckhardt. She married Alan Albrecht Dec. 3, 1955 in Ashton, IL. Together with her husband they farmed the family farm for over forty years.

Member of St. Johns's Lutheran church in Ashton and was a 1953 graduate of Rochelle Township High School.

and a daughter Lynn (Ken) Burch of Lindenwood, IL

4 grandchildren Alana (David) Bergeson, Renee (Justin Miller) Burch, Marissa Albrecht and Alan R. Albrecht.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday Nov. 5, 2007 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Ashton, IL with Pastor Jonathan Black. Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 7 P.M. at Unger-Horner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Trinity Memory Gardens Cemetery.
