Barbara Jean Bartha, age 93, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2026 at the Manor Court in Rochelle. She was born on January 10, 1933 in Tampico, IL, the daughter of Earl and Mildred (Hamburg) Galor. Barbara married Frederick Bartha on July 3, 1959 in Polo, IL, he preceded her in death on February 29, 2012. She worked at DelMonte prior to retiring. She is a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, William Galor, and sister, Shirley Savage.

Survived by step-daughter Fritzi Beardsley of Amboy, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 22, 2026 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, with Pastor Michael Gudgel officiating. Visitation will be from 10 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Thursday prior to the funeral. Burial will be at 2:00 P.M. at the Naperville Cemetery.
