Barbara Ann Grigsby, 80, formerly of Ashton, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at St. Anthony's Medical Center in Rockford, IL. She was born September, 10, 1932 in Salem, IL, the daughter of Merle and Grace (Cantrell) Wells. Barbara worked for Borg Warner in Dixon, IL for many years.

Barbara was preceded in death by her son, Charles Beardin in 2010 and great nephew, Michael Nauman.

She is survived by her grandson, Raymond (Shelby) Beardin; great-granddaughter, Delanee Beardin; sister, Marilyn (Donald) Nauman of Freeport, IL; nephews: Brad (Kathy) Nauman, Steve (Tia) Nauman; niece, Michelle (Travis) Kubly; eight great nieces and nephews; special friends: Penny Beardin, Joni Beardin, Chris Pfoutz and Jack Haller.

The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St. Rochelle. The visitation will be the same day from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Ashton Cemetery. A luncheon will follow the burial at the Rochelle VFW, 318 4th Ave. Rochelle. Memorials may be made to the St. Judes Children's Hospital or the American Diabetes Association.
