Bernadine Deichman, 89, of Genoa, passed away November 25, 2012 at the Ivy Hall Nursing Home in Elizabethton, TN. She was born on June 16, 1923 in Belle Rive, Illinois, to Nona B. (Williamson) and William A. Jared. She was preceded in death by her parents, her seven siblings, her daughter Deanna (Brookman) Farley, and two infant daughters.
Bernadine was retired from Greenlee Tools in Genoa. She attended the First Baptist Church of Genoa. Aunt Burnt Bean or Grandma Bun, as she was lovingly referred to by family members, enjoyed making Christmas candy, spending time with her family, and making sure her family stayed connected.
She is survived by her son: Ken (Wendy) Deichman of Sycamore, and daughter: Glenda Carr of Elizabethton, TN., four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at the Trinity Memory Gardens Cemetery in Rochelle with the Rev. Edward Hathcoat Officiating.
