Berneice A. Frey, 90, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Bethany Health Care and Rehabilitation in DeKalb. She was born August 10, 1927 in Edwardsville, IL the daughter of Walter and Alma (Hunt) Bardelmeier. She married Hugo F. Frey on August 5, 1947 in Highland, IL. He preceded her in death on March 21, 2004. Berneice is also preceded in death by her parents and a son, Teddy.

Berneice is survived by her children, Hugo Frey of Rochelle, Thomas (Janice) Frey of Dallas, TX, Timothy Frey of Schaumburg, Toby Frey of Elgin, IL, Phyllis (Wayne) Walters of McHenry, IL, and Peggy (Lee Fortune) Frey of Dallas, TX; three grandchildren, Jesses Walters and A.J. and Meredith Frey.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 236 Kelley Drive, in Rochelle with Father Ruben Herrera officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday at the church from 9:30 A.M. -10:30 A.M. Interment will follow at 2:30 P.M. at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery in Palatine, IL.
