Betty L. Elledge, 75, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017 at her home with her family at her side. Betty was born on January 28, 1942 to Edward and Margaret (Tripp) Boutain in Rockford, Illinois. She graduated from Rochelle Township High School in 1960. She married Jackie M. Elledge on October 11, 1960 in Popular Bluff, Missouri. Betty worked for many years at Caron International. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jackie, on April 15, 2005, her sister, Charlotte Helfrich and brother, Edward Boutain.

Betty is survived by her daughters: Dawn Elledge of Rochelle and Yvonne (Gary Mason) Spink of Franklin Grove, IL; two sisters: Deloris (Glyde) Wilson of Rochelle and Barb New of Arkansas; two grandchildren: Kourtney Spink and Randy Lewis and four great grandchildren: Brayden Murray, Payton Murray, Haedyn Snyder and Cyrus Lewis.

Per Betty's request, she would like her service to be a celebration of her life and would like everyone to wear colorful clothing and not any black.

The visitation will be from 9:00 - 10:50 A.M., Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle.
