Obituary
BETTY JEAN LANDAKER, age 80, died on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at the Rochelle Gardens Care Center. She was born on February 4, 1929 in Flagg Township to Ernest and Jewell (Trowbridge) Rinehart. She married Richard Landaker on Aril 21, 1990 in Rochelle and he preceded her on April 30, 2000. Betty was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and had
previously been employed by Eaton Controls.
Survivors include step mother: Catherine Rinehart of Sterling, IL; brother: John G. Rinehart of Rock Falls, IL; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Mr. and Mrs. Richard Dorsa of Matawan, NJ; cousins: Darlene Ludwig of Gilbertsville, KY and Shirley Volle of Herod, IL.
Services will be held at Faith Lutheran Church in Rochelle on Monday, Aug.24, 2009 at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to the service at 10. Burial will be at Flagg Center Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers: memorials to Faith Lutheran Church or to Hub City Senior Center.
Arrangements by Unger-Horner Funeral Home.
