Betty G. Sanders, age 86, passed away on November 9, 2020 at Provence St. Anne Center in Rockford. She was born on August 7, 1934 in Rochelle, IL, the daughter of Harry and Gertrude (Kugler) Macklin. She married Robert H. Sanders on December 14, 1956 in Rockford, he preceded her in death on June 22, 1984. She worked at Rochelle Foods prior to retiring. Betty is also preceded in death by her parents, sons: Robert H. Sanders, Jr., and James Sanders and brother, Wayne Macklin. Betty will fondly be remembered by all for her wit, wisdom, and service through the years at Barkers Pharmacy.

Survived by her 3 children: Randall (Pat) Sanders, Barry (Jackie) Sanders, and Sheri Stinnett all of Rochelle; brother, Ronald (Elsie) Macklin of Rochelle, and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Private Immediate family service will be held at the Steward Cemetery with Pastor Megan Thompson officiating on Wednesday. Service will be live streamed on the Unger Horner Facebook page on Wednesday at 11:00am. There will be a walk thru viewing opportunity of Betty on Tuesday from 5 - 6:00 p.m. at the Unger Horner Funeral Home with no family present.
