Bonnie Lynn Burgess, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009 at Rochelle Community Hospital. She was born on Sept. 11, 1953 in Rochelle to John and Rose (Wirtz) Bondan. She graduated from Rochelle Township High School in 1971. Preceding her in death were her parents; and her brother: John Bondan. Bonnie married Thomas J. Burgess on May 23, 1987. She was employed by Rochelle Community Hospital in the business office for 18 years with her best friend, Pam Volkert and also for Rochelle School District 231 as an bus aide. She was a great cook and a giving person who enjoyed gardening and her dogs: Molly and Maddy.

Survivors include her husband Tom of Rochelle; son: Tyler Burgess of Las Vegas, NV and
brother: Robert Bondan of CA.

Services at Unger-Horner Funeral Home on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009 at 10:00 AM with
Rev. Richard Devore officiating. Visitation at Unger-Horner from 5 to 7 PM Wednesday, Nov. 18th. Memorials to American Cancer Society. Entombment at Lawnridge Mausoleum.
