Brenda J. Cochrane, 61, formerly of Rochelle, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2019 in Rockford, Illinois. Brenda was born on May 8, 1957 to Anthony Angelico and Barbara Jean "Robin" (Kinnee) Hayes in Lynwood, California. Brenda is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, René McDermott.

Brenda is survived by her spouse, Jesse James of West Brooklyn, IL; three children: Amie McDermott of Rochelle, IL, Tim (Jonathan Malone) McDermott of Schaumburg, IL and Keith Cochrane of Malta, IL; step-father, Timothy Hayes; brother, James (Alex) Lange of Lutz, FL; two sisters: Deb Taylor of Cherry Valley, IL and Kimberly (Tyrone) Backers of Boca Raton, FL; one grandchild, Megan Seebach and a best friend, Debbra Doubler.

Public visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M., Thursday, April 4, 2019 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle.
