BRYAN LEE SCARBROUGH, age 35, of Rochelle, passed away at his mother's home with his family by his side following a sudden illness. He was born on June 2, 1975 in St. Charles, Illinois, the son of John D. and JoAnn Webb Scarbrough. He married Dena Linne Cain on May 27, 1995 in Mendota, Illinois. He worked in Construction. Bryan loved family gatherings, coaching the All-Star Jr. League Baseball Team to the State Championship, and was an avid Bears, Bulls, Cubs, and stock car racing fan. He is preceded in death by his sister: Dawn Marie Scott; step dad: Chris Alsup; uncles: Larry Scarbrough, and Joe Westenberger; grandparents: June Webb, Warren Scott, and Joseph and Polly Webb.
He is survived by his wife: Dena Scarbrough of Rochelle, 3 children: Jacob, Cassandra, and Jarod Scarbrough; his mother, JoAnn (Darrel Fry) Alsup; father, John (Barbara) Scarbrough, Step father: Mark (June) Scott, 5 step brothers: Mike (Hollie) Elshoff, Kevin (Amie) Eggenburg, Jonathan Parks, and Brian and David Alsup; 3 step sisters: Christina (Jack) Maynor, Felisha Parks, and Lisa Alsup; grandparents: Rita Scott, Joe Alsup, Mary Alsup, and Herb and Wanda Treece; Aunts: Melinda Ellberg, Donna (Don) Sarver, Kathie Scott, Sue (Jerry) Birdstrip, and Marta (Dave) Guzzardo and Uncles Mike (Julie) Webb, Terry (Linda) Webb, Richard Scott, Roger Scott, Paul (Cindy) Alsup, and Mike (Barb) Alsup, mother-in-law: Edna (Tom Inness) Cain, sister-in-law: Candy (Ralph) Mattingly, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at the Unger Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th ST., Rochelle with Chaplain Judy Williams officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5 - 7 PM.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family.
Burial will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Creston, IL.
