Obituary
Burton A. Wicke, 54, of Creston, IL. passed away on Sept. 24, 2011, at St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford. He was born on Dec. 25, 1956 in Aurora, IL to William J. and Marian R. (Wigen) Wicke. Burton married Ruthann E. Lund, on Dec. 15, 1979 in DeKalb, IL. He was a photography and computer technician. His parents preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife: Ruthann of Creston; daughter: Rachel Wicke of Creston;
sister: Rebecca (Bruce) Robb of Gilbert, SC; and aunt: Jeannette Meling of Batavia.
A memorial service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church in Creston, IL with Rev. Ron Larson officiating, on Saturday, Oct.1, 2011 at 2:00 PM. Visitation one hour prior to service from 1 to 2 PM at the Church. Memorials may be made to the family. Cremation rites and arrangements by Unger-Horner Funeral Home.
