Carolyn K. Bresette, 83, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Rochelle Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Rochelle. Carolyn was born on January 21, 1937 to Jim and Dorothy (Thompson) Younglove. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons: Tom and Scott Bowers.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Terry Bowers of Rochelle; brother, Lyle Younglove of Mendota, IL; and four grandchildren: Sarah (Caitlyn) McGinness, Sandra (Chris) Staler, Michael Bowers and Matthew (Mariah) Bowers.

Visitation will be from 9:30 - 10:30 A.M., Monday, March 16, 2020 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. The funeral service will follow at 10:30 A.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Gregory Hoffmann officiating. Burial is at Lutheran Cemetery in Mendota, IL.
