Obituary
Cecelia F. Miller, 72, of Steward, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009 at Rochelle
Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. She was born on March 5, 1936 in Chicago, IL
the daughter of Leonard and Florence (Davis) Dunn. Cecelia married Richard Miller on June 17, 1988 in Las Vegas, NV. She had previously been employed in purchasing for Whirlpool
and was preceded by a son: Christopher Getz and daughter: Circe Nelson.
Survivors include her husband Richard of Steward, Sons: Michael Cannon of Gurnee, IL
Timothy Karajewski, and Stepson: Michael (Cheryl) Miller of Sumava, IN; 3 step daughters:
Catherine (Ken) Socha of West Chicago, IL, Deanna (Dale) Pisano of Lombard, IL and Heidi Cruz of Lisle, IL; sister: Felecia Ziomek of Livermore, CA; and many grandchildren and great
grandchildren.
Services will be at the Steward United Methodist Church on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009 at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Judy Sherk. Visitation at Unger-Horner Funeral Home on Monday, Jan. 5th from 4 to 7 PM. Cremation rites will follow services. Memorials to the Humane Society.
