Obituary

Cecil Floyd Call, 81, of Rochelle, IL passed away Jan. 28, 2012 at the Central Dupage Hospital in Winfield IL. Cecil was born July 10, 1930 in Lawrence KA, the son of Alva and Thelma (Strait) Call. Cecil married Priscilla Faye Russell May 24, 1958 in Rochelle IL and she preceded him in death on Nov. 24, 2003. He was a member of the Marines and served during the Korean War. Cecil was employed by Del Monte as a Foreman at plant 199 and retired in 1985. He was a member of the 1st Baptist Church in Rochelle. Cecil was preceded in death by his wife, 2 sons: Ronald Moore, and Michael Call (Jan 11, 2012); daughter: Connie Newquist; brother: Loren Call; sisters: Mary Call and Vera Fields.

Cecil is survived by sons: Ken (Tammy) Call of North Brook, IL, Donald (Rhonda) Moore of Knoxville, TN and Terry Moore of Rochelle; daughters: Machelle (Jack) Terry of Rochelle and Janice Perkins of Rochelle; brothers: Ralph (Jane) Call of Ava, MO, Clarence (Jane) Call of Spirit Lake, IA and Troy (Hazel) Call of West Plaines, MO; sisters: Dorothy Miller of Fayetville, AR and Phyllis (Ed) Robertson of Mansfield, MO; 14 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Thur. Feb. 2, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle, IL with Rev. Doug Cowan officiating. Visitation from 9:00 - 10:45 AM at the funeral home before the service. Memorials may be made to the 1st Baptist Church in Rochelle, IL. Burial with Military rights provided by the Eastern Lee-Ogle Honor Guard at Trinity Memorial Gardens.
