Celerina Hueramo, age 72, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025 at her son's home in Melrose Park with her family at her side.  She was born on September 24, 1952 in Mexico, the daughter of Octavicno and Ofricina (Nava) Suarez.  Celerina Hueramo was the heart of her home. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her 7 children, 11 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was a constant source of comfort, wisdom, unconditional love, and her presence made every gathering feel like a celebration.

Celerina's kitchen was always filled with the aroma of delicious food, a testament to her passion for cooking. She delighted in preparing meals for her family, her delicious mole, enchiladas rojas, posole, and buñuelos during Christmas time will be deeply missed.  Her cooking was an expression of her love, bringing everyone together around the table.  Beyond the food, she loved to listen to music and attend concerts.

She is survived by her 7 children: Jesus (Lorena) Hueramo, Enrique (Vickie) Hueramo, Eugenia (Juan) Cincire, Manuel (Guadalupe) Hueramo, Jose Hueramo, Maria (Benjamin) Molleda, and Aldo (Nicolena) Hueramo; 11Grandchildren: Guillermo Hueramo, Thalia (Gabriel) Hueramo, Giselle Hueramo, Jacquelyn Hueramo,  Annette Hueramo, Juan R. Cincire, Diego Cincire, Lizbeth Hueramo, Giovanni Hueramo, Luna Hueramo, and Luca Hueramo; 3 Step-Grandchildren: Danna Molleda, Hannah Molleda, and Angela Molleda; 2 Great Grandchildren: Camila Campos and  Milo Campos; and 6 siblings: Leodegario Nava, Maurilia Nava, Guadalupe Nava, Floriberto Nava, Ismael Nava, and Humberto Nava.

Visitation will be from 5 - 8:00 P.M. on Monday, June 2, 2025 at the Unger Horner Funeral Home,400 N 6th St., Rochelle, IL.  Funeral mass will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 3, 202567 at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father Jesus Dominguez officiating.  Burial will follow at the St. Patrick Cemetery.  Guest book at www.UngerHorner.com
