Rochelle

Charles D. "Chuck" Millotte, 87, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018 at Franklin Grove Living and Rehab Center. Chuck was born March 22, 1931 in Rochelle, the son of Ralph and Ethleen (Hizer) Millotte. He married Nancy K. Welch on September 2, 1950 in Duluth, MN. She preceded him in death on April 3, 2004.

Chuck proudly served his country during the Korean War. He attended Iowa State University. He farmed in the Rochelle area until he retired in 1995. Chuck was a member of the Rochelle United Methodist Church.

Chuck is survived by two daughters, Michele (Howard) Doss of Sarasota, FL and Martha (Michael) Schulkins of Bloomingdale, IL; a grandson, Bradley Charles (Rachael) Doss; two great-granddaughters, Carter Rose and Jordan Anne; three step-grandchildren, Sarah (Alex) Korda, Katie (Ricky) VanDyke and Michael Schulkins; one step-great-grandchild, Lincoln John; a brother, Archie Millotte of Rochelle; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 24, 2018, at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6 ^th St. in Rochelle with Pastor Rob Hamilton officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the memorial service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment of cremated remains will follow in Lawnridge Cemetery in Rochelle.
