Charles Talbot Hayes, 70, of Milladore, WI, formerly of Kings, passed away at his home on Monday, May 18, 2009. He was born on Dec. 10, 1938 in Rockford, IL the son of Charles and Evelyn (Hanes) Hayes. He was raised on the family farm on Rt. 64 in Kings. He attended
Kings Elementary School and Rochelle High School before serving in the U.S. Marine
Corps Reserve. He spent many years farming and raising six sons and later drove a truck.
Talbot married Birdie M. Peterson on Oct. 19, 2001, and spent his retirement playing golf in Wisconsin and Arizona and spending time with family and friends. Talbot was a father to many
and a friend to all.
Survivors include his wife Birdie of Milladore, WI; six children: Daniel Hayes of Venice California, Matthew Hayes of Fairbanks, Alaska, Neil Hayes of Naperville, IL, Larry Warren of Richland Center, WI, Jerry Warren of Downers Grove, IL, and Phil Warren of Bloom City, WI;
sister: Marlys Gee of Malvern, PA; Eight grandchildren: Jackie Warren and Christine Rogus, Kyle and Colin Warren, Shane and Shannon Warren, Nick and Riley Hayes; and Nephews:

Funeral services will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th St., Rochelle, IL with Rev. Brett Todd officiating. Visitation will be
on Friday, May 22, 2009 from 5 to 8 pm. Burial at White Rock Cemetery in Kings.
