Chester L. Quitno, 70, passed away in his home Friday, October 25, 2013 from cancer with his wife, Rosa, at his side. He was born December 13, 1942 to Samuel and June (Smith) Quitno in Rochelle, Illinois. Chester graduated from Rochelle Township High School the class of 1961 and joined the United States Air Force, serving from 1961 to 1971. He worked as a truck driver for 31 years including Frozen Food Express of Dallas, Texas. Chester married Rosa Olsen on January 25, 2013 in Rochelle, IL. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Chester is survived by his wife, Rosa, one son, Vince of Tampa, FL, two daughters: Stephanie Gille of Rochelle and Heather Quitno of Belvidere; one sister, Judith (Jimmie) Leibfreid of Dade City, FL and five grandchildren: Hannah, Maggie, Wyatt, Carter and Isabel.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 28, 2013 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. The visitation will be the same day from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Creston, IL. Memorials to the family. On line guest book at www.ungerhorner.com
