Rex. C. "Chuck" Sage Jr. , 65 of Rochelle, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2010 at Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb, IL. He was born on Jan. 26, 1945 in Dixon, IL, the son of Rex Charles and Eileen Ruth (Rucker) Sage. He owned and operated HighTech Drywall and also worked for Midstates Drywall in Rockford. Chuck was an avid deer hunter with both bow and shotgun. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Rochelle. A sister, Dawn Sage, and his parents preceded him in death.

Survivors include 4 daughters: Tanya Sage, Dawn Sage, Susann Sage and Samantha Sage Owen all of Rochelle; 2 sons: Rick (Sue Estrem) Sage and Brian Sage both of Rochelle; brothers:
Dan (Nancy) Sage of Ft. Atkinson, WI and Dennis (Mary) Sage of Rochelle; sister Judy (Richard) Askland of Rochelle; 13 grandchildren: Ashley Brown, Dustin Tapp, Hunter and Hayden Jones, Trevor Owen, Devyn and Krynn Hayward, Kalon Gross, Lyndsey Sage, Amanda Sage, Felicia Sage, David Sage and Gracin Sage and 1 great grandchild: Jaden Brown.

Services will be at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Rochelle on Friday, May 28, 2010
at 10:00 AM. Visitation at Unger-Horner Funeral Home on Thursday, May 27th from 4 to 8 PM.
Burial at St. Patrick Cemetery.
A memorial has been established to the family.
