Clara J. Florschuetz, 97 of Rochelle, passed away on Wed. July 14, 2010 at Rochelle
Gardens. She was born on Oct. 10, 1912 in Earlville, IL to Gustav and Augusta (Weidner)
Guelde. Clara married Franklin Dale Florschuetz on Sept. 7, 1932 in Dixon, IL and he preceded her on Aug. 1, 1986. She was also preceded by sisters: Elsie Hecathorne and Margaret Brandenburg; and brother: Gus Guelde. Memberships include St. Paul Lutheran Church., Charter Member of VFW Post 3878 Auxiliary, Rochelle Conservation Club, Moose Lodge and Hub City Senior Center.
Survivors include her Son: Rick (Diane) Florschuetz of Rochelle; Grandchildren: Eric (Sophia) Florsc huetz and Angela (Reuben Kaller) Florschuetz; great grandchildren: Reagan and Kennedy. Nephews: Ralph and Dean Brandenburg.
Services will be held at Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle, with Rev. Bill Kucenski, on Monday, July 19th at 10:30 AM. Visitation will be on Monday from 9 to 10:15 prior to the service at Unger-Horner. Memorials can be made to St. Paul Lutheran School.
Burial at Trinity Memory Gardens in Rochelle.
