Clayton "Jack" F. Heller, 93, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016 at the Dixon Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Dixon, IL. Jack was born September 20, 1922 to Clarence W. and Laura (Montgomery) Heller in Cherry Valley Township, Illinois. He proudly served with the U.S. Army during WWII in the infantry and as a cook. Jack married Betty J. Powers on August 1, 1947 in Dixon. He was a farmer and also worked for Swift and Company in Rochelle from 1962 to 1980.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty, on May 14, 2009; his daughter, Patsy A. Morrison; six brothers and his sister.

Jack is survived by two sons: Robert "Bob" (Shelly) Heller of Amboy, IL and Roger (Rita) Heller of Rochelle, IL; brother, Charles Heller; two sisters-in-law: Millie Heller and Agnes Heller; seven grandchildren: Scott (Jen) Heller, Jason (Sara) Heller, Catherine Brinkmeier, Cynthia Davenport, Mark (Salina) Heller, Kenneth Morrison, Christopher Morrison; and eight great-grandchildren: Jacob, Sidney, Kristen, Kayla, Justin, Emma, Brock and Logan "Little Jack".

A memorial service will be held 10:30 A.M., Thursday, April 14, 2016 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle, with Pastor Jack Briggs officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service on Thursday from 9:00 to 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow the service at Ashton Cemetery with military honors provided by the Eastern Lee-Ogle Honor Guard.
