Cleto Kingsbury, 47, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2020 at his home in Lindenwood. Cleto was born on July 13, 1972. He is preceded in death by his father, Jordan Kingsbury, his grandparents, Bernard and Rita Kingsbury, and an uncle, Hardy Henna.
Cleto was a die-hard Chicago Bears fan. He loved sports and all of his Illinois teams. He enjoyed fishing and spending time in the great outdoors, especially in Canada. He was an Engineer and a Craftsman who could be found designing, optimizing, creating, and building just about anything he needed to solve a problem or simply for his enjoyment or enjoyment by others. One of his hobbies was designing and creating lamps which he often gave away as gifts. He was an avid reader and cooking enthusiast who enjoyed perfecting his own recipes in the kitchen. Cleto was a gentle, kind, and calm soul, loved by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and those who were fortunate to have met him.
Cleto is survived by his mother, Juana Kingsbury, of Lindenwood, IL; two brothers: Bernie (Becky) Kingsbury of Lindenwood, IL and Michael (Christa) Kingsbury of North Dakota; three sisters: Juana (Mike) Kulwicki of Chana, IL, Maria "Cuca" (Travis Lund) Kingsbury of Woodridge, IL and Rita (Brian) Etscheid of Redwood City, CA and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation care is provided by the Unger-Horner Funeral Home. Memorials may be made in Cleto's memory to the family by care of the Unger-Horner Funeral Home,
