Clifford Claire Klouse age 78, of Creston, Il, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009 at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. He was born on Nov. 22, 1930 in St. Ansgar, Iowa the son of Anton R. and Hazel F. Hyland Klouse. He married Clarabel M. Van Esch on Aug. 18, 1959 in Fairbault, MN. Clifford was preceded in death by his: wife Clarabel Nov. 20, 2007. He was also preceded by a sister Delores Novak. Clifford served the U.S. Army in the Korean War and was a Life member of V.F. W. Post 3878. He was retired employee of Swift and Co.



Survivors include 3 sons: Scott (Darcy) Klouse of Rice Lake, WI, Mark (Debi) Klouse of Rochelle and Bruce (Fran) Klouse of Dodge Center, MN and a daughter: Julie Simmons of Rockford: Grandchildren: Jessica, Becca and Jared Klouse, Amber Klouse, Jake Simmons, Christopher and Jennifer Rilling; a great granddaughter: Alexis Marmon;

Services will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday Feb. 25,2009 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home 400 N. 6th Street Rochelle. Visitation will be from 12:00 P. M. until service time. Burial will be at Trinity Memory Gardens in Rochelle with Military rites by Post 3878. Memorials can be made to V.F.W. Post 3878.
