Conni Lou Johnson, 74, passed away peacefully at her home in Algonquin, Illinois on Friday, September 11, 2026. Conni was born on January 2, 1952, the daughter of Francis B. and Yvonne A. (Gisleson) Lichty in Rochelle, IL. She worked as a manager for AT&T for many years.

Conni lived her life with remarkable independence, grace and intellect. She listened without judgement, provided gentle guidance, and unconditional love. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

In addition to her parents, Conni is preceded in death by her sister, Nona Rasmussen in 1999.

Conni is survived by her son, Kiel Johnson of Gilberts, IL; two especially close nieces and their families: Tonya Barton of Amboy, IL and Teresa Thorne of Oregon, IL and many close friends and beloved relatives.

There will be a memorial visitation from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle.
