Connie Gene Clark 67 of Rochelle died Tuesday Dec. 16, 2008 in Rochelle Gardens Health Care Center. He was born May 8, 1941 in Mt. Vernon, IL the son of Oliver and Goldie Brown Clark. He married Mary Collings in 1962 in Mendota, IL

Preceded by his parents; 2 brothers: Jack, and Donald Clark and a sister: Betty Jornlin.

He was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church and Rochelle Moose Lodge. He worked for Swift & Co. for 25 years and Rochelle West Nursing Home for 10 years.
Connie was a avid hunter and fisherman.

Survived by wife Mary, 2 daughters Julie (Randy) Laws, Lisa (Dean Burger) Clark all of Rochelle.
3 brothers: Joseph Clark of Arkansas, Bob Clark of Mississippi and Lindy (Harriet) Clark of Mendota, IL;
sister: Iona Noles of Mendota, IL;
4 Grandchildren Dustin and Whitney Burtman and Nathan and Noah Laws.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Monday Dec. 22, 2008 at Unger-Horner Funeral Home with Rev. Gregg Hoffman. Visitation will be 9:30 to service time on Monday at Unger-Horner.

Memorial fund has been established to Unity Hospice.
Cremation will follow services.
