With deep sadness and broken hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Consuelo "Connie" Hope Willson, who left this world on August 25, 2025, at the age of 68.  Connie was born to Isabel and Petra (Garza) Rangel on June 26, 1957 in Pearsall, Texas.

Known by her close family and friends as "Midnight Fox," Connie was a quiet soul with a loving heart, a sharp sense of humor, and a courageous spirit. While she may have seemed shy at first, those who knew her discovered a funny, vibrant, and deeply caring woman who brought light into every room. She adored her family, her friends, and animals of all kinds.

Connie had a unique passion for collecting Coca-Cola cookie jars—each one a playful and treasured symbol of the joy she found in the little things. She faced life's toughest challenges with remarkable strength. Through her battles with leukemia and later with diabetes, Connie never gave up. She cried, she fought, and she found the will to live more fully each time. That was her spirit—quiet but unstoppable.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Petra and Isabel Rangel, and her sister Diana Salas. She is survived by her loving siblings: Joe Arthur (Marina) Rangel, Delma Jackson, Gilda (Pedro) Garcia, Linda (Rene) Robledo, Isabel Jr. (Leticia) Rangel, Lionel Rangel, Peggy Ann Rangel, and Belinda Rangel. She is also remembered and loved by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who were touched by her kind and funny soul.

A celebration of Connie's life will be announced at a later date. The family invites all who knew and loved her to join them in honoring her memory.

Though our hearts are heavy, we hold close the love she gave us and the light she brought into our lives. Connie was our sister, our friend, our joy—and her memory will live on forever in all of us.
