Craig "Worm" L. Larsen, 55, of Rochelle, passed away from cancer at his home on Monday, July 9, 2007, with his family by his side. He was born on August 9, 1951 in Rochelle, the son of Lawrence and Rose M. (Miller) Larsen. Craig married Nancy Leathers on January 25, 1975. Rose Larsen and Nancy's mother, Doris Leathers, were roommates in the hospital in 1951 when Craig and Nancy were born and in 1969, they walked together at the graduation ceremony from Rochelle Township High School. He was employed by Northern IL University in DeKalb as a painter, for over 30 years prior to retiring. Craig coached minor league baseball for many years. He was preceded by brothers: Michael L. Larsen on May 6, 2005 and Curtis L. Larsen on Dec. 23, 1983 a sister: Lisa Annette in 1960 and his grandma and grandpa: Laurentze and Lars Larsen.

Survivors include his wife Nancy of Rochelle, a son: Lars (Nicky Gittleson) Larsen and 2 daughters: Rachel Weber and Linda (B.J.) Sanders all of Rochelle; his parents Larry and Rose Larsen of Rochelle; a sister: Sherri Salsbury of Oregon, IL; 6 grandchildren; Ashlyn Weber; Alexis, Gage and Crue Larsen; and Alexandra and Drew Sanders.

Services will be held at Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle, on Thursday, July 12, 2007 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Judy Sherk officiating. Visitation will be held at Unger-Horner on Wednesday, July 11th from 4 to 8 PM. No Flowers Please Only Family: Memorials can be made to the family. Burial will be at Lawnridge Cemetery.
