Dagmar A. Remmers, age 87, of Rochelle passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at Rochelle Community Hospital. She was born on May 3, 1921 in Sand Point, Idaho, the daughter of Karl and Alina Kesti. Dagmar married Louis Remmers in 1946. She worked at Boeing Aircraft as a mechanic during WWII and then worked at Caron International, retiring in 1988.
Dagmar is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters: Ione Kuta, and Elma Franklin; and a stillborn infant daughter.
She is survived by 3 daughters: Jan (Bob) Maas of Stillman Valley, Carol ("Olie") Warning of Rochelle and Sharon (Mike) Crase of Kirkland; 5 grandchildren: Mike Maas, Deborah (Tom Haner) Maas, Jennifer Warning, Lisa (Jeff) Froman and Sarah (Steven) Whitmore; and 5 great grandchildren: Ada Mae and Henry Haner; Zander Froman; and Hannah and Morgan Whitmore.

Services at Unger Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th St., Rochelle, on Friday, Feb. 27, 2009
at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be prior to the service on Friday form 1 - 2:00PM. Burial at
