Daniel M. Stenli,66, of Rochelle, passed away at Rochelle Community Hospital in Rochelle on Sunday, May 20, 2012. He was born on Feb. 2, 1946 in Brooklyn, NY to Marvin B. and Beatrice (Boyd) Stenli. Dan married Cathy Thomas on June 30, 1973 in Janesville, WI.
Cathy and Dan owned and operated C & D Taxi Service of Rochelle. Dan was also employed by Barber Greene in DeKalb, IL, and Caron International in Rochelle. He was preceded in death by his father: Marvin.

Survivors include his wife Cathy of Rochelle; son: Michael Stenli of Lanark, IL; daughter:
Danielle Stenli of Rochelle; his mother: Beatrice Stenli of Freeport, IL; sisters: Suzanne Cote of Freeport, IL and Linda (Allan) Petersen of Spicer, MN and 4 grandchildren: Katrina, Amanda, Matthew and Spencer Stenli.

Graveside services will be held at Trinity Memory Gardens in Rochelle on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 11:30 with Rev. Judy Williams officiating. Visitation will be at Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 4 to 7 PM. A memorial has been established.
