Danny E. Bee, 53, of Creston, IL passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. Danny was born on July 22, 1968 to Kenneth E. and Martha A. (Rivers) Bee in Sycamore, IL. He worked at the Petro Travel Center for 21 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenny and both maternal and paternal grandparents.

Danny was an avid train buff and spent hours watching the trains, taking pictures and he could answer any questions. He loved NASCAR, animals, music, the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs. Danny never met a stranger; despite the many obstacles he had to overcome, he loved life.

Danny loved his family, friends and his town of Creston. While in high school, he was very proud to be the first hearing impaired person to sign the National Anthem at an NFL game of 44,000 people. His smile and caring heart will be missed forever. As a mom, I will miss him saying, "You okay, Mom?" I always will reply, "Yes, I will be okay."

Danny is survived by his mother, Marty of Creston; two brothers: Rick (Laura) Bee of Rochelle, IL and Jamie (Lori) Bee of Davis Junction, IL; nieces: Machela Bee, Haley Bee and Danielle Cooper; nephews: Hunter Bee, Jacob Cook and Elwood Cook; great nieces: Aubree Awe, Korra Koehler and Brynleigh due in April; great nephew, Brycen Awe; many aunts and special uncle, Larry Cox; and special friends: Debi, Beth, Krissie, Mary and the Oregon Living and Rehab Center staff.

Memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M., Thursday, February 24, 2022 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. The memorial service will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, February 25 at the funeral home with Pastor Dana Cox officiating. Burial will follow the service at Woodlawn Cemetery in Creston, IL.
