Darlene J. Zhe, 73, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2014 in Rochelle, Illinois. Darlene was born February 28, 1941 in Pittsville, WI to Arthur and Mabel (Brahmsteadt) Fuller. She married Alvin L. Zhe on January 14, 1959 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Darlene worked for Caron International for 20 years until the plant closed. After that, she worked at Wal-Mart for several years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin, on August 23, 2002, her son, Alvin Jr. and her brother, LaVerne Fuller.
Darlene is survived by her three children: Patricia (John) Wolff , John Zhe and Tom (Jody) Zhe all of Rochelle; brother, Art Fuller of Sycamore, sister, Linda Dotter of Oregon, four grandchildren: John Wolff Jr., Danielle (Donnie) Gibson, Jamie (Aaron) Sharpe and Jessica Zhe and one great granddaughter, Zelda Gibson.
The visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 P.M., Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. There will be a family graveside service following the visitation at Lawnridge Cemetery in Rochelle. The family requests memorials to the American Diabetes Association.
