David W. Fike, 60, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016 at his home in Rochelle. David was born February 13, 1956 to Ernest and Betty (Sanford) Fike in Dixon, Illinois. He worked for the Illinois Tollway for 19 years and Crest Foods for the past eight years. He made many friends at Crest Foods and hated to have to stop working when his health declined. David loved fishing, camping, being outside with his kids, watching westerns and his favorite old T.V. shows. He is predeceased by his brother, Allen Fike, and his parents, Ernest and Betty Fike.

David is survived by his beloved children: Maley, Lyla and Justice Fike; and step children: Lexie and Jenz James all of Ashton ; brother, Steven (Janet) Fike of Kings, IL and two sisters: Diana (Steve) Arntzen and Brenda (Ray) Humphrey both of Dixon, IL and many nieces and nephews.

David's family would like to personally thank Crest Foods for their generosity and help with his courageous battle with cancer.
